Opening Credits

These are some stills along with the story board from my current After Effects project. I'm doing the opening credits for The Legend of Bagger Vance. The brief was to select a past film and create the opening credits for the film. The idea behind my concept plays off of the film and the time period in which it takes place (1930's). I wanted to add a historical element as well so I used the newspaper clippings and black and white sepia tones.

Rubber Ducky!

This was my very first project using After Effects. It was a "getting to know After Effects" project so the concept and story is quite simple. My professor was more concerned with the exploration process of video, sounds, and special effects so nothing special from a design stand point.

NY Rangers Magnets

These are some magnets I designed as an intern for the New York Rangers/Madison Sqaure Garden. They were a give-away at one of the Rangers home games this past winter. They follow the overall design scheme for the 2009/10 season campaign. Working there was a great experience and introduced me to sports design which is what I hope to do after graduation. All credit goes to Madison Square Garden.

And the winner is?

This was the beginnings of the graphics for the "special edition" football packaging if Peyton Manning and the Colts were to win the Super Bowl, but as we all saw, Drew Brees and the Saints walked away victorious.

Super Bowl XLIV Football Packaging

This is a "Special edition" Super Bowl XLIV football packaging design I created that is focused around Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees. It contains a unique di-cut of the Lombardi Trophy to emphasize that this was made for the Super Bowl and is a limited edition product, as well as Drew Brees' signature, and statistics about the New Orleans Saints Super Bowl winning season.

NBA 2011 Al-Star Game Logo Animation

When I created this logo last fall, I imagined it lighting up as the bright lights of Hollywood do. This was my first attempt using After Effects, but I think it was successful.
